Customer Contact Centre Associate

As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll spend your time speaking to customers and 3rd parties, helping them with mortgage account queries and payment requests.

We’re offering a generous package with excellent bonus earning potential and many other company benefits:

  • £20,286 to £21,714 - that’s £9.75-£10.43 per hour based on a 40-hour contract. 35-hour contracts are available on pro-rata salary

  • Bonus earning potential of up to £1,400 per annum

Starting on 25th July 2022, you will begin your first week by getting set up on the systems, to ensure all system access is working. You will then go into training, following your follow week. Towards the end of the academy training, we will introduce you to your shift patterns which we will share with you a few weeks in advance. You will be helping our customers between 8.00am & 8.00pm Monday to Friday including Bank Holidays where you will be scheduled on a rotational basis, and 9.00am-1.00pm Saturday. (Saturday hours may be extended to 4.00pm at month end)

Location: Derry BT48 or Skipton BD23 or Remote

Office Location: You’ll live in 1-hours commute, from our Derry (BT230) or Skipton (BD23) offices. You will be in the office, from Day 1 if you choose to be in Skipton BD23 or Derry BT48.

Remote Location: Please ensure you have a strong WIFI connection and suitable workspace, to work remotely. Please note, that although your position is a remote working role, you may be required to travel to local offices, if there is a business need to do so. For example, performance related issues which requires 1-2-1 coaching.

The role is not available outside the UK.

Providing excellent customer service is key as you will be the first point of contact in our frontline team. You’ll be dealing with a range of queries from customers and 3rd parties.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of customer queries, having great conversations, and making sure they feel supported

  • Building rapport with customers quickly to ensure the best service is delivered

  • Maintaining a high level of functional and technical expertise on policies and solutions

  • Delivering on targets including quality, complaints handling, productivity, and knowledge building

  • Working with customers across multiple brands, making sure your decisions are appropriate to the customer’s needs

  • Supporting peers and team initiatives to make improvements and better ways of working – we love to hear new ideas!

Compensation. £20,286 to £21,714 for 40-hours contract or £17,750-£19,000 for 35-hour contract
